Alex brings a unique perspective to DeepDiveBio at the intersection of machine learning, big data, and the IoT. In 2006, Alex co-founded Mtelligence, a company that develops intelligent, interoperable manufacturing systems. Mtell’s machine learning platform uses sensor data from industrial IoT devices to create a distributed immune system to protect IoT equipment and personnel. Mtell was acquired in 2016 by AspenTech (NASDAQ: AZPN), the global leader in process optimization software.

His current interests are augmented intelligence and network effects. He is a member of Peter Diamandis’s A360 (Abundance 360) network. Alex received degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science with a concentration in neuroscience.
